in the late afternoon, the inhabitants of the village gather again at the house of jao-por guan for another ceremony. afterwards, jao-por guan, four monks and a buddha statue are carried to the temple. the jao-por guan is seated on several large rockets. when they arrive at the temple, they are first blessed and then shot into the sky. in this way, the spirits are asked for rain for the coming season.
at the end of the festival people gather again in the temple, where the monks preach thirteen sermons until the next morning. thus the festival ends early in the morning of the third day and dan sai sinks into a deep sleep again.
